The European Ground Motion Service (EGMS) is a Copernicus Service devoted to the monitoring of land deformation phenomena. It is based on the radar interferometry technique, which exploits data acquired by radar satellites. The EGMS covers all Europe (with some exceptions like Switzerland and a few Balkan countries) and the deformation phenomena from 2015. The data of such a Service are open and free for everybody, including the private companies.
The course will introduce the EGMS and will be held October 19, 9.00 – 12.30 at Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic Vršovická 1442/65, Praha 10, 100 10, room 900.
